NDIS Categories:
- Core Supports – Assistance with Daily Living

At FlexiCare Disability Services, our Nursing and Clinical Care services are delivered by qualified, experienced, and compassionate nurses who specialise in disability care and chronic health management. We support NDIS participants who require regular or occasional health care in the comfort of their own home.
We work collaboratively with participants, families, GPs, allied health providers, and support coordinators to ensure seamless care across all health needs. Our services are designed to support not only physical wellbeing but also independence, safety, and confidence in managing daily health routines.

- Wound Care
Management of acute and chronic wounds, pressure injuries, post-surgical sites, and diabetic ulcers using evidence-based protocols to promote healing and prevent infection.
- Medication Administration & Support
Assistance with oral, topical, and injectable medications, including reminders, monitoring, and education around dosage and side effects.
- Chronic Disease Management
Support for long-term conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, respiratory illness, and neurological disorders—with an emphasis on education, symptom tracking, and prevention of complications.

When Is Nursing Care Funded by the NDIS?
Nursing care can be funded under:
- Core Supports – when care is part of essential daily needs
- Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living – if the care is delivered as part of a broader therapeutic support plan or health goal
FlexiCare can help assess how this fits within your current plan or assist with the documentation needed to request these supports.
